Virk Has Tough River Decision
Action was opened under the gun by John Ripnick to 2,500. Only Arshdeep Virk in the small blind and the big blind called.
The 4♠8♥7♠ landed on the flop and the blinds checked to Ripnick who continued for 3,500. Only Virk called.
The turn brought a K♥ and Virk checked again. Ripnick put out another bet of 11,000. Virk called.
The 8♠ landed on the river and Virk checked once more. Ripnick sat in the tank for over a minute before putting out a large bet to the tune of 45,000.
Virk was in the blender. He took his time and appeared to be going back and forth on a call. Eventually his chips made it into the middle.
Ripnick tabled Q♦10♠ for a triple barrel bluff and Virk tabled 5♠2♠ for a rivered flush. Virk dragged the pot but both players are still very healthy when it comes to chip count.
