Stellwagon Puts the Pressure On
Level 4
: Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Action was opened under the gun by local pro Jeff Stellwagon to 1,000. A player in middle position called, the cutoff called, and both of the blinds called.
The 4♥6♠2♦ flop hit the felt and action checked to the big blind who led out for 2,600. Stellwagon sat in the tank for a moment and stared down his opponent before putting in a raise to 7,000. The rest of the players got out of the way and action was back on the big blind.
They thought over their options for about a minute before eventually finding a fold.
Stellwagon took down the pot after some well-timed aggression paid off.
