There was a button limp from Soukha Kachittavong to 200,000 before Greg Himmelbrand raised to 700,000 from the big blind and Kachittavong called.

The 7♣6♥K♣ flop landed and Kachittavong called a 500,000 bet from Himmelbrand on their way to a Q♠ turn.

Himmelbrand sat in the tank for a moment before betting out for 1,700,000. Kachittavong called.

The 2♠ river hit the felt and after a moment Himmelbrand moved in having Kachittavong covered. He took a moment but eventually found a fold and Himmelbrand scooped without showdown.

Himmelbrand Takes Back Some Chips After Losing More

Soukha Kachittavong had just gotten finished winning a hand at showdown with pocket sixes that had three streets of small betting. That hand put him almost even in chips with Greg Himmelbrand and led to this action...

Himmelbrand opened the button to 450,000 before Kachittavong three-bet to 1,100,000. Himmelbrand called.

The 10♣5♥2♣ flop landed and Kachittavong slowed down and checked to Himmelbrand who put out a bet of 1,100,000. Kachittavong called.

The K♦ landed on the turn and action checked through to a 6♥ river. Kachittavong checked one more time and Himmelbrand opted to bet a large sizing of 3,400,000.

Kachittavong thought it over for about a minute but eventually found a fold.

Kachittavong and Himmelbrand Agree to Chop

The clock had just rolled over to 4:00 a.m. local time and Soukha Kachittavong had won enough small pots to gain a small chip lead. He suggested an even chop and Greg Himmelbrand accepted.

Kachittavong held the slight chip lead so he will take home the trophy and the title.
