$2,200 Summer Series Event 3
Day 1a Started
The PokerStars Summer Series at Live! Casino and Hotel Philadelphia started off with a bang, as both of the first two events of this series doubled the guarantees. Today, Event #3: $2,200 No Limit Hold’em begins with a massive $500,000 guarantee and this one is expected to be doubled as well.
Matthew Gross won the first event in this series, conquering a field of 1,020 to take home $69,568 and the coveted trophy. That prize was bested after Soukha Kachittavong took down $105,407 by way of a heads up chop after an action packed final table in Event #2. All that’s left is to see who will come out the winner in Event #3, which is sure to attract some of the best from the Tri-State area. There will be big names and even bigger action once the cards are in the air.
