The 7 turn landed and action quickly checked through to a 4 river. The first two players checked and then Thomas opted to put out a wager of 12,000. He got folds from both players.

Lasalle Makes Great River Call

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

There was a button open to 2,500 before Sean Lasalle called from the big blind.

The 873 flop hit the felt and Lasalle check-called a 2,800 bet from the button on their way to a 3 turn.

Lasalle check-called another bet of 6,300 and they were off to an A river. It was checked to the button one last time and he put out a bet of 11,300.

Lasalle went into the tank for a moment and then put in the chips. The button knuckled the table as if to say he was good and showed 109. Lasalle tabled 108 for one pair but it was more than good enough to scoop.

The PokerStars North American Poker Tour (NAPT) is returning after a 12-year hiatus, and where better to get the show on the road than fabulous Las Vegas? November 4-12 are the dates to highlight in your diaries because that is when NAPT Las Vegas heads to Resorts World in "Sin City."

The 2023 NAPT Las Vegas takes place just one week before the most anticipated Formula 1 Grand Prix in history, which takes place through the streets of Las Vegas. PokerStars will be there, Oracle Red Bull Racing will be there, will you?

Although primarily aimed at the North American market, the NAPT is open to all, and PokerNews expects players to travel from far and wide to get involved in this historic rebirth. Nhan Cao
Nhan Cao

There was a middle position open to 3,500 before Nhan Cao went all in from the button for about 19,000. It folded back to the original raiser who called and the cards hit their backs.

Nhan Cao: 66
Middle Position: KK

The 10A5 flop hit the felt and Cao started to get up and put on his jacket. The A turn paired the board and Cao wished the table good luck as he began to gather his things. That's when the dealer burned and turned the 6 river and the table went nuts.

Cao smiled as he gained new life in the tournament and would continue to battle the very next hand.
