Push From Porter In Position

There was an early position open to 5,000 before Andrew Porter put in a cold three-bet from the button to 12,000. The original raiser called.

The Q♦A♥10♠ flop hit the felt and action checked to Porter who continued for 7,000. His opponent called.

The 5♥ landed on the turn and it was checked to Porter again. He took more time and then landed on a bet of 13,000.

His opponent went into the tank for almost two minutes before finally finding a fold. Porter dragged the pot after some well timed aggression in position.

The Kostelac Cooler

Bin Weng opened from under the gun to 4,000 before he got a call in the cutoff from John Kostelac, the button, and both of the blinds called.

The 2♥7♠7♦ flop landed and action checked to Kostelac who bet 5,000. The big blind called and then Weng check-raised to 15,000. Kostelac and the big blind both called.

The turn brought a 9♠ and without much thought the big blind moved all in for about 32,000. Weng went into the tank but eventually found a call. Kostelac then moved in for less.

All of the players were live but the 6♠ river would give Kostelac a pure triple and the spade river would earn Weng a small side pot. The big blind would be sent to the rail.

Action was picked up on a flop of Q♣2♣4♥. A player in early position bet out for 6,900. Adam Reese was on the button and took his time before putting in a raise to 24,000. The early position player didn't wait long before moving all in for about 55,000. Reese snap called.

The 7♥ turn and 9♦ river were no help to his opponent and Reese would drag the pot after cracking aces.

Andrew DeFrancesco limped under the gun and it folded all the way to the blinds who both called.

The 7♦10♦6♣ flop hit the felt and it checked to DeFrancesco who bet out for 4,500. Only the small blind called.

The A♥ landed on the turn and the small blind check-called another 4,500 bet from DeFrancesco on their way to a 6♥ river.

The action checked through and DeFrancesco tabled A♦3♦ for top pair before his opponent mucked.

McDonald Picks His Spot

John McDonald opened the button to 6,000. The small blind got out of the way and the big blind called.

The 3♥3♣5♠ flop landed and without thinking for long the big blind opted to lead out for 11,000. McDonald went into the tank for a few moments before eventually finding a call.

The K♣ landed on the turn and the big blind slowed down and checked. McDonald didn't think for long and then put out a bet of 12,000. His opponent cut out the chips but thought better of it after a few moments and returned his cards to the dealer.

McDonald dragged the pot right after the close of late registration.
