Final Table Action

"PIES1212" was the first casualty of the final table when his pocket jacks ran into the pocket-aces of "neverhaveit22". He was followed out the door by "MakeTheHop" who lost a flip with ace-king against the pocket jacks of "TTV_JThrizz".

Kaye, who not long before the final table had doubled up with quads in a sick cooler, managed to double up again through "TTV_JThrizz" during the final seven with ace-king against the latter's ace-ten. Not long afterwards, "TTv_JThrizz" would bow out in seventh after running ace-jack into the ace-queen of "DOZER519".

"PLAYIN_4_STAXX" was next to be eliminated when "neverhaveit22" hit running diamonds to make a flush to best the former's top pair. Not long afterwards "FunkyJesus" would find a double up before promptly running into Kaye's pocket-aces to bow out in fifth.

"ProfessorNAPE" came into the final table with the biggest stack but lost several key pots to Kaye before ultimately moving all in with king-nine only to lose to Kaye's jack-nine when a jack came in on the river, resulting in a fourth place finish.

Kaye held a firm lead during three-handed play while his two opponents shifted between second and third place several times. In the end "DOZER519" ran ace-two suited into the ace-eight suited of "neverhaveit22" and failed to improve, resulting in a third place finish to mark the beginning of heads-up play.

Heads-up play was a brief affair with Kaye soon getting it all in with ace-ten preflop against the jack-ten of "neverhaveit22". The final hand saw the lead change multiple times as the board ran out, with "neverhaveit22" picking up top pair on the flop only for Kaye to hit running cards to make a straight, ending the tournament in definitive fashion.
