Adams On the Short End of Big Flip

Frank Visser
Frank Visser
Level 19 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 2,500 ante

"Eleres88" open-raised to 40,000 chips from under the gun before Timothy "Tim0thee" Adams made it 123,000 to go from the hijack. The rest of the table folded, but "Eleres88" four-bet jammed, covering Adams' stack of roughly 850,000 chips. Adams wasted no time in calling and the pair showed down.

Timothy "Tim0thee" Adams: A♦K♠
"Eleres88": Q♥Q♦

Adams paired his ace on the A♣J♠10♥ flop, but the detrimental K♣ turn gave "Eleres88" a straight. No chop or full house arrived for Adams on the 10♦ river and he was sent home while his opponent gathered a big stack.
