The Q♦ river then completed the board and Cochrane checked for a third time. With only 263,789 chips in Cochrane's stack, Pardo jammed all in and sent Cochrane into the tank. With just a few seconds left in the time bank, Cochrane made the call and Pardo was forced to show his 3♠3♦.

Meanwhile, Cochrane rivered a mediocre queen with his Q♣6♣ and hero-called for his final few chips with the min-cash in sight. This time, he was right, and he doubled up at a crucial stage of the tournament.
