Most online poker players will go their entire careers having never won a PokerStars World Championship Of Online Poker (WCOOP) title, but Andy "BowieEffect" Wilson is not like most players. The popular British grinder first won a WCOOP title in 2021, the same year he won his first Spring Championship Of Online Poker (SCOOP) tournament. WCOOP title No. 2 came in 2024. Wilson became a three-time WCOOP winner on September 18 in the 2025 WCOOP.

The $1,050 NLHE 6-Max PKO attracted 151 entrants who created a $175,000 prize pool. As you would expect from a $1,050 buy-in event, the final table was a star-studded affair. Albanian superstar "king153246," Juan "Malaka$tyle" Pardo, and "10Badboy10" fell by the wayside, leaving the tournament four-handed.

Those four became three when Simon "C. Darwin2" Mattsson busted in fourth before Vlad "VladTheSlaye" Martynenko saw his latest deep run end in a third-place finish.

Wilson went on to defeat Romania's "goshaleg" heads-up, turning his $1,050 investment into a third WCOOP title and $39,871 in prize money, including bounties.
