Brazilian ace Renan "Internett93o" Bruschi became an eight-time WCOOP champion after coming out on top in the $2,100 edition of the Thursday Thrill. This tournament saw 163 players create a $326,000 prize pool, and Bruschi claimed $68,831 of that impressive sum.

Bruschi returned for Day 2 in the middle of the pack; he found himself ninth in chips from the 16 returning players. He navigated to the nine-handed final table, where the likes of Simon "C. Darwin2" Mattsson, "hello_totti", Andras "probirs" Nemeth, and Leon "RUMUKULUS" Sturm busted.

Bruschi found himself heads-up against fellow Samba star Brunno "botteonpoker" Botteon after Alexandros "Pwndidi" Theologis bowed out in third. The all-Brazilian clash went Bruschi's way, and he came out on top, taking home $68,831 and his eighth WCOOP title.
