A bumper crowd of 1,182 players turned out for the $1,050 World Championship of Progressive KO NLHE, and Hungary's "kZhh" left them all in their wake. The impressive victory meant the Hungarian became a six-time WCOOP champion; their sixth victory came with a colossal $175,199 top prize, including bounties.

Sixty-one players returned for this event's Day 2, and there was a steady flow of eliminations from the get-go. Such luminaries as Juan "Malaka$tyle" Pardo, Thomas "WushuTM" Muehloecker, Benny "RunGodlike" Glaser, Pavel "silentm0de" Plesuv, and Stevan "random_chu" Chew were among the high-profile casualties.

The $1,182,000 prize pool resulted in the top five finishers walking away with five figures worth of progressive bounties. Sweden's "Sasuke234" collected one such bounty after falling in third, leaving "kZhh" heads-up against Dan "dannyz0r" Borlan. Both heads-up players locked in $80,390 for their deep runs, leaving the substantial bounties to play for. "kZhh" eliminated their final opponent to become online poker's NLHE PKO world champion.
