The 2025 WCOOP NLHE Main Events Shuffle Up and Deal This Weekend
It seems like only yesterday that the 2025 World Championship Of Online Poker (WCOOP) exploded into action at PokerStars, yet here we are, talking about the massive No-Limit Hold'em Main Events. Three such tournaments kick off at 5:30 p.m. BST on September 28; that's this coming Sunday! All three are four-day events, boasting incredible structures that ensure the cream will rise to the top.
The WCOOP Main Events have buy-ins of $109, $1,050, and a gigantic $10,300. The guarantees for those tournaments are $2 million, $3 million, and $4 million, respectively.
Last year, Samuel Vousden was the last man standing in the $10,300 WCOOP Main Event. The Finn navigated past 501 opponents on his way to collecting a $1,007,058 top prize.
All eight finalists in the $10,300 Main Event turned their initial investment into at least six figures. Preben "prebs" Stokkan, "Natrium111," Joao "IneedMassari" Simao, and Darrell "FourSixFour" Goh were the first casualties of the final table. Brazil's Davi "DaviMMaker" Cola busted in fourth, with Guillaume "Nolet20" Nolet bowing out in third for almost half a million dollars.
Vousden then defeated French-Canadian Pascal "Pass_72" Lefrancois heads-up and reeled in a seven-figure prize!
