Terrence Chan Crowned Badugi World Champion

Canada's Terrence "Unassigned" Chan became a two-time WCOOP champion by coming out on top in the $1,050 World Championship of Badugi. Chan last won a WCOOP title in 2009 in a $1,050 Limit Hold'em 6-Max event. He now has another trophy to keep that one company, plus $18,385 more in his PokerStars account than a couple of days ago.

This event saw 44 entrants create a $44,000 prize pool that the top five finishers shared. Both "eduardombjf" and "Abit9144" navigated to the final table but still returned home empty-handed.

Benny "RunGodlike" Glaser was the first finalist to cash. "NicoBoko" and "isavevski" followed Glaser to the rail, leaving Chan heads-up against mixed game guru "FAL1st." Chan, a poker pro turned MMA star, scored a different kind of knockout to become a two-time WCOOP champion and the world champion of Bdugi.
