Two Titles in One Night for CMoosepower
Danish grinder Christian "CMoosepower" Elgstrom enjoyed a fruitful evening at the PokerStars tables on September 27. He took down a pair of WCOOP events, bringing his total to six WCOOPs won.
Elgstrom first won the $215 buy-in edition of the 8-Game event, leaving 174 opponents in his wake and claiming a $6,981 top prize. Talal "raidalot" Shakerchi reached this event's final table, but fell in fourth as he hunted his sixth WCOOP victory.
The Dane couldn't bask in the glory of his victory for too long because he was locking horns with some excellent players in the $1,050 Stud event. A compact 32-strong field battled for this title, but the night belonged to Elgstrom, who saw Patrick "pads1161" Leonard bust in third before defeating Renan "Internett93o" Bruschi heads-up for his second victory of the night and his sixth WCOOP title.
