In December 2024, Marcelo Aziz fell at the final hurdle in the $25,000 WSOP Paradise Main Event for a career-best $4,600,000. Last night, Aziz went one place deeper in WCOOP 105-H: $1,050 NLHE Turbo PKO and became a three-time WCOOP champion.

This fast-paced one-day event saw the 136-strong crowd reduced to only one in less than four hours. When the dust had settled, Brazilian Aziz was the last remaining player. His prize? $40,478.

Aziz captured his first WCOOP title in 2022 in a $530 NLHE Turbo PKO event. His second came earlier this WCOOP in a $215 NLHE 7-Max PKO event. Aziz showed PKO tournaments are his forte with yet another impressive display at PokerStars.
