Talal "raidalot" Shakerchi has been knocking on the door of a sixth WCOOP victory throughout this series, and he's finally knocked down that door and helped himself to that title. Shakerchi triumphed in the $1,050 NLHE Deep Stack and scooped $39,725 after defeating Vlad "dariepoker" Darie heads-up.

Shakerchi, who also has six Spring Championship Of Online Poker (SCOOP) victories to his name, first won a WCOOP in 2020. He added three more in 2021, a fifth in 2023, and is now enjoying his sixth win.

A field of 203 entrants created a $203,000 prize pool that the top 23 finishers shared. Blaz "Scarmak3r" Zerjav, Patrick "pads1161" Leonard, and Niklas "Lena900" Astedt were among the in-the-money finishers; the final table was equally, if not more, infested with sharks.

Shakerchi found himself in a three-handed battle with Juan "Malaka$tyle" Pardo and the aforementioned Darie for the lion's share of the prize pool and the glory of victory. Pardo fell in third before Shakerchi sent Darie home in second, denying the Romanian his second WCOOP gong.
