Rayan "Beriuzy" Chamas Takes Down the $109 NLHE Main Event
Canada's Rayan "Beriuzy" Chamas will forever be known as the 2025 PokerStars WCOOP $109 NLHE Main Event champion after he came out on top of a 20,587-strong field. Chamas' victory came with his fourth WCOOP title and an impressive $212,826 of the $2,058,700 prize pool.
Chamas won his first WCOOP title in 2022 in a $2,100 NLHE event. The Canadian helped himself to two more titles that year, one in the $2,100 NLHE Turbo PKO and another in the $2,100 edition of the Super Tuesday. This 2025 WCOOP $109 Main Event victory is Chamas' fourth victory, and the largest of the lot with a $212,826 prize.

The $109 NLHE Main Event surpassed its $2 million guarantee, resulting in the top three finishers receiving six-figure payouts. Third-place finisher "m.o.4515" took home $108,137 for their effort, while "fernandul27" of Brazil, who fell at the final hurdle, saw their PokerStars account swell by $151,700.
Chamas didn't get to celebrate immediately after his massive win because he found himself deep in the $1,050 PLO event. Amazingly, Chamas took that down too, defeating Joao "Naza114" Vieira heads-up, denying Vieira his 14th WCOOP win, and claiming the $24,135 top prize for himself.
