Ukraine has a WCOOP Main Event champion, and "MiMikyolo" is that player. The Ukrainian triumphed in the $1,050 NLHE Main Event, leaving 3,393 opponents in their wake, as they collected a gigantic prize worth $487,131.

The 3,394 entrants created a $3,394,000 prize pool, which was considerably larger than the advertised $3 million guarantee. Several household names made it through to the latter stages, including Alisson "heyalisson" Piekazewicz, Arunas "BalticMoose" Sapitavicius, Daan "tinnoemulder" Mulders, Dmitry "yurasov1990" Yurasov, and Damian "pampa27" Salas. "viinig" of Brazil banked the first of those six-figure prizes when they busted in fifth. Canada's "777acenace77" fell in fourth and won $176,444 before Malta's "MaCheCazzoFai" came unstuck in third, a finish good for $247,525.

"MiMikyolo" locked horns with Dennys "dennysramos2" Ramos heads-up. No deal was struck despite there being a $140,000 difference in prize money, meaning "MiMikyolo" netted $487,131 for their victory, and Ramos had to make do with a $347,242 consolation prize.
