"Darwinsfish" Leads Final 16 Heading into Day 3 of WCOOP-02-M; Dzivielevski in Second

It's a wrap for Day 2 of Event-02-M: $1,050 NLHE [8-Max, Progressive KO, Sunday Slam] of the 2020 World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) at PokerStars.
A total of 211 players returned to continue to battle it out for Day 2 action but only 16 of them made it through to the final day.

Leading the pack is "Darwinsfish", from Netherlands, who bagged the chip lead with 33,411,567. "Darwinsfish" was slowly building throughout the day and he took over the chip lead during the last levels of the night when he scored a big double with threes against "1mSoWeeeaK"'s ace-queen suited in a blind vs blind situation all in preflop.

He is followed by Yuri "theNERDguy" Dzivielevski with 19,958,852 and Rasmus "Powergolf" Zerr rounds up the top three with 17,031,520.

The stakes will be high during the final day as many other notables are still in the hunt including Martin "martin12389" Schejtman (13,668,758), Joni "bustoville" Jouhkimainen (13,511,580), Andy "BowieEffect" Wilson (13,508,348), Evan "PURPLE"K"99" Parkes (12,947,125), Eduardo "Eduardo850" Silva (10,134,607), Rinat "Zapahzamazki" Lyapin (8,906,640), Alex "AlexGelinski" Gelinski (7,233,100), Thomas "WushuTM" Muehloecker (5,333,160) and Luke "Bit2Easy" Reeves (3,885,429).

Other big name players who dropped by the wayside along the way during today's action are Lorenzo "O"Pazzzo"" Baynes, Marc "Rowniwn" Radgen, Matt "OLD TIME GIN" Stone, Benjamin "bencb789" Rolle and Joao "Naza114" Vieira.

The remaining 16 players are all guaranteed to collect $5,133 but all eyes will be on the six-figure top prize of $130,321 and the WCOOP title.

Action will resume on Tuesday September 1st at 1:05 ET local time at Level 37 which features a small blind of 175,000 big blind of 350,000 with a 45,000 ante.
