Higgins vs Martirosian
Higgins vs Martirosian

Simon "simon1471" Higgins limped the button and Joao "Naza114" Vieira filled up from the small blind, which then prompted a raise to 70,000 by Artur "mararthur1" Martirosian in the big blind. Higgins stuck around and called a first continuation bet of 54,285 on the {q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop.

Martirosian then bet the {3-Clubs} turn for 218,680 and Higgins jammed for 838,331 only to get snap-called.

Simon "simon1471" Higgins: {4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}
Artur "mararthur1" Martirosian: {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}

Higgins needed the case trey for quads but the river was a blank {k-Hearts} to reduce the field to the final 24 contenders.
