Welcome to Day 1 of the 2020 WCOOP-37-H: $5,200 PLO [6-Max, High Roller]

2020 WCOOP
2020 WCOOP

As of 1.05 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, the mixed game aficionados will enter the fray in the latest High Roller event of the PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker 2020 as today's schedule contains WCOOP-37-H: $5,200 PLO [6-Max, High Roller].

Slated with a guarantee of $500,000, the great game of Pot Limit Omaha is certain to attract some of the biggest names of the live and online poker scene.

All players receive 100,000 in chips and the late registration for the event remains open for a total of four hours and 40 minutes of play. During that period, the players can re-enter for a maximum of three times and the event will be played in a six-handed format and a level duration of 20 minutes.

One year ago, some WCOOP PLO High Roller winners included "kimokh", Joni "bustoville" Jouhkimainen, Joao "Naza114" Vieira, "Tonimonntana", and "shenideda". Vieira in fact won two PLO High Rollers including the WCOOP-71-H: $10,300 PLO [6-Max, PLO Main Event], which came with a payday of $384,947.88.

The defending champion of this very event is Hungary's "xnrobix" who won his second title of the 2019 festival after coming out on top of a field of 179 entries and took home $178,512.19 for the efforts.

It would be no surprise to see many of those former WCOOP title holders back in action today and the PokerNews live reporting team will provide the action from start to finish. Day 1 will play down to the money bubble and all survivors then return the following day at 1.05 p.m. EST to determine a champion.
