"SmilleThHero" Eliminated in 9th Place ($15,755)

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 3,750 ante
SmilleThHero eliminated
SmilleThHero eliminated

Tomi "elmerixx" Brouk opened the action with a raise to 66,000 from early position and "SmilleThHero" three-bet jammed for 408,410 in the hijack, which Brouk called.

"SmilleThHero": {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Tomi "elmerixx" Brouk: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

It was an ordinary flip with an extraordinary flop as Brouk made quads on {j-Spades}{10-Spades}{10-Hearts} to instantly deal the final blow, as the meaningless {2-Hearts} turn and {a-Spades} river ended the run of "SmilleThHero" in 9th place for $15,755.

Greenwood Chops With "MaxHendrix"

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 3,750 ante

Sam "Str8$$$Homey" Greenwood min-raised the button and was called by "MaxHendrix" in the big blind. "MaxHendrix" check-raised the [QJc2h] flop to 135,000 and Greenwood called.

"MaxHendrix" bet the {k-Clubs} turn for 195,000 to get called by Greenwood and made it 273,488 to go on the {a-Diamonds} river and called the shove of Greenwood with {10-Clubs}{9-Spades} for a straight, Greenwood chopped with {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}.

In the next hand, Fabiano "Kovalski1" Kovalski defended the big blind and check-raised from 42,188 to 195,000 on the {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} flop, which shut down Greenwood.

First Bigger Pot to Greenwood

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 3,750 ante

Several medium-sized pots took place so far and the first bigger one was awarded to Sam "Str8$$$Homey" Greenwood who defended the small blind against a raise by Samuel "€urop€an" Vousden. Greenwood check-called a bet of 91,800 on the {7-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and they checked the {5-Clubs} turn.

Greenwood bet the {k-Clubs} river for 242,451 and Vousden folded.

Fabiano "Kovalski1" Kovalski raised to 50,000 from under the gun and was called by "Apo5555" from one seat over as well as Sam "Str8$$$Homey" Greenwood in the big blind. On a flop of {k-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}, Greenwood check-called the shove of "Apo5555" for 94,046 but Kovalski raised to 225,000 in order to isolate.

"Apo5555": {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Fabiano "Kovalski1" Kovalski: {2-Clubs}{2-Hearts}

The {a-Clubs} turn left the Russian drawing dead and made the {j-Hearts} river a formality.

Level 22 : 12,500/25,000, 3,250 ante
Proudfoot eliminated
Proudfoot eliminated

The far-shortest stack Jonathan "Proudflop" Proudfoot was in the big blind and Sam "Str8$$$Homey" Greenwood simply got it in from the small blind, which Proudfoot called.

Jonathan "Proudflop" Proudfoot: {a-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}
Sam "Str8$$$Homey" Greenwood: {9-Spades}{7-Clubs}

Proudfoot was ahead with an ace but that changed on the {j-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} flop, neither the {4-Clubs} turn or the {3-Hearts} river came to the rescue and Proudfoot became the first casualty of the day.

Oliveira Above a Million

Level 22 : 12,500/25,000, 3,250 ante

Filipe "Zagazaur" Oliveira defended his big blind against a raise by "Sintoras" and check-raised the {9-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop to 98,640, which "Sintoras" called. On the {q-Clubs} turn, Oliveira bet 183,854 and that won the pot.

One hand later, Tomi "elmerixx" Brouk opened to 55,000 and was called by Oliveira and Fabiano "Kovalski1" Kovalski in the blinds. They checked all the way on the {j-Spades}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{3-Hearts} board and Oliveira won the pot with {a-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for a pair of sevens.

"SmilleThHero" Doubles Through Proudfoot

Level 22 : 12,500/25,000, 3,250 ante

"SmilleThHero" was at risk on the button with the {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and Jonathan "Proudflop" Proudfoot took the flip in the big blind with the {k-Hearts}{10-Spades}. On a board of {9-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{4-Hearts}, the fours held up and even rivered a set to let "SmilleThHero" double.
