Mamonov vs Pokerger1337

Felix "xflixx" Schneiders has nearly tripled up his stack after the Day 2 entry and on the same table, Maksym "MAMOHT_T" Mamonov scored a knockout after sending "Pokerger1337" to the rail in the last hand before the break.

"Pokerger1337" was at risk with the {a-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} in the small blind and Mamonov called with {a-Spades}{q-Spades} as the initial raiser. The board came {q-Hearts}{j-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{5-Clubs} and Mamonov locked up the pot on the turn already.

Prendiville Hits the Rail

Level 17 : 7,000/14,000, 1,750 ante

The short stacks keep on busting and the latest example was Irishman Sean "MonkeyBudg" Prendiville, who got it in from the cutoff against "newguy89" on the button.

Sean "MonkeyBudg" Prendiville: {a-Spades}{3-Diamonds}
"newguy89": {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}

The {4-Clubs}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} board brought no help and that spelled the end for Prendiville.

Defending Champion Russell Eliminated

Russell vs gabsdrogba

Fraser "BigBlindBets" Russell spent the start of Day 2 on a table with notable big stacks and eventually got it in from the cutoff for 216,970 to get called by "gabsdrogba" on the button.

Fraser "BigBlindBets" Russell: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
"gabsdrogba": {a-Spades}{q-Spades}

The {a-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop improved the Brazilian to a pair of aces and the {10-Diamonds} turn and {6-Spades} river runout sent Russell to the rail.

Spragg Busts "Gambler4444"; Hoefer Chips Up a Lot

Level 17 : 7,000/14,000, 1,750 ante

Just before the blinds went up, "Gambler4444" jammed in the cutoff for the last few blinds with the {k-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} and was called by PokerStars ambassador Ben "Spraggy" Spragg in the big blind with the {k-Hearts}{7-Spades}.

The board ran out {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{a-Spades} and the pot was sent to Spragg.

Paul "_pauL€FauL_" Hoefer then went on a heater to felt "SinKarma" with kings versus king-nine and piked up the same hand when Vitor "Vitorbrasil" Moreira got his chips in from the button.

Vitor "Vitorbrasil" Moreira: {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
Paul "_pauL€FauL_" Hoefer: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

The board came {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{q-Spades}{9-Clubs} and the kings were best once more for Hoefer.

Level 16 : 6,000/12,000, 1,500 ante
Badziakouski vs Goya
Badziakouski vs Goya

Mikita "fish2013" Badziakouski took a flip with {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds} from the button against the {a-Hearts}{8-Clubs} of Dante "dantegoyaF" Goya in late position.

Goya had entered before the start of the day and the {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{2-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} board sent the chips to him, while Badziakouski was gone.

One hand later, Fintan "easywithaces" Hand won a nice pot after defending the big blind and tabled the winner in {10-Clubs}{7-Spades} for jacks and tens on a {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}{10-Spades}{4-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} board when he check-called the flop and turn against Henri "Buehlero" Buehler.

"PESCJAU" Loses Flip to "spanishmogo"

Level 16 : 6,000/12,000, 1,500 ante

On the same table as start-of-the-day chip leader Leonardo “LeoMattosAK” Mattos, fellow Brazilian player "PESCJAU" was all in with the {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} and flipped against the {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} of "spanishmogo".

The board brought {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{8-Spades} and that spelled the end for "PESCJAU".
