Brummelhuis vs Otavio

In the last hand of the previous level, Joao "XxJoaoFeraxX" Otavio raised from under the gun and was called by Michiel "utreg" Brummelhuis in the big blind.

On a {q-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop, Brummelhuis check-raised to 132,000 with 225,270 and called the shove of Otavio.

Michiel "utreg" Brummelhuis: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}
Joao "XxJoaoFeraxX" Otavio: {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}

The {10-Diamonds} turn posed a threat as Otavio picked up a flush draw but Brummelhuis held up on the {7-Hearts} river.

Aido Takes Big Pot From "boerni21"

Level 23 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Following a button raise by "boerni21" and a call from Sergio "zcedrick" Aido in the big blind, the flop showed {k-Hearts}{6-Spades}{4-Clubs} and Aido check-raised from 69,743 to 307,286. "boerni21" clicked it back to 836,092 and Aido called.

The duo checked the {j-Spades} turn and Aido's shove on the {k-Diamonds} river forced a fold from "boerni21".

The action kicked off with a raise to 92,000 by Mark "AceSpades11" Radoja from early position and "GaryT20" three-bet to 284,000 in the cutoff. What followed was the four-bet jam by "s0nny_bLacCk" in the small blind for 1,451,446 and Radoja folded, "GaryT20" however snap-called.

"s0nny_bLacCk": {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
"GaryT20": {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}

In a clash of the best two starting hands, the aces prevailed on the {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{j-Spades}{9-Clubs} board and the field was reduced to just 256 hopefuls.

Miracle Escape for Neves

Level 23 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Helio "hneves182" Neves was all in with a severe short stack and tabled the {a-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} only to find himself crushed by the {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades} of table neighbor "Horseman4444". On the {k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{q-Hearts}, Neves hit an unlikely split pot.

Pereira Wins Flip to Bust "prophetdream"

Level 23 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Several players bowed out in quick succession and among them were Jack "jackziyang" Salter, Pedro "PaDiLhA SP" Padilha and "prophetdream". For the latter, it was a flip out of the small blind in a pot of more than 1.85 million as he faced initial raiser Christian "Crisper" Pereira.

"prophetdream": {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Christian "Crisper" Pereira: {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

Despite the ace on the {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop, the player at risk needed running cards and the {10-Diamonds} turn was a start. However, the {a-Hearts} river failed to provide any further help as Pereira scored the knockout with a full house.

Japan's "U_Key_U" raised to 100,000 and "Fear1Wisdom" three-bet to 340,000 with 10,164 behind from one seat over. "DingeBrinker" then four-bet jammed the button for more than 800,000 and that forced out the blinds and initial raiser. "Fear1Wisdom" called it off and the following showdown emerged.

"Fear1Wisdom": {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
"DingeBrinker": {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}

The board ran out {8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and the king on the turn sealed the fate for "Fear1Wisdom", who succumbed in 247th place.
