Strebkov Wins With Aggression

Strebkov check-raised the {k-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{8-Hearts} flop and bet the {6-Diamonds} turn, "RaulGonzalez" came along. On the {q-Spades} river, Strebkov bet and "RaulGonzalez" folded once more.

As the hands race to their conclusion, Ari "BodogAri" Engel has claimed two pots back to back to nearly close the gap to Denis "aDrENalin710" Strebkov. In the first hand he defended and check-called twice on a {k-Spades}{j-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Spades} board to win with {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}.

One hand later he three-bet out of the small blind and "RaulGonzalez" called on the button. Engel bet all the way on the {k-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{10-Spades}{10-Clubs} board to table {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} for a straight.

"RaulGonzalez" soared into a bigger lead after taking two Deuce to Seven pots against Yuri "theNERDguy" Dzivielevski. The Brazilian survived an all-in for crumbs and was at risk soon after once more for just over one full bet.

Dzivielevski discarded three cards and "RaulGonzalez" patted. The Brazilian took another trey and one card on the last two cards to show a queen-six for the missed low draw. "RaulGonzalez" only had a ten-nine but that won the pot to eliminate Dzivielevski in 4th place.

Joao "Naza114" Vieira opened and then three-bet before calling the cap by "RaulGonzalez" in a battle of the blinds. Vieira stood pat and "RaulGonzalez" took one card. They both invested another four bets each which left Vieira with just over one full bet behind.

They patted and Vieira check-called all-in with the second a seven-six for the second nuts. However, "RaulGonzalez" had the seven-five for the nuts and sent Vieira out in 5th place for $36,091.

"RaulGonzalez" raised and was called by Yuri "theNERDguy" Dzivielevski in the small blind, Denis "aDrENalin710" Strebkov called out of the big blind. Each of them discarded three and Strebkov bet, picking up two calls. Strebkov stood pat whereas "RaulGonzalez" and Dzivielevski took one.

Strebkov bet once more and now "RaulGonzalez" was the only caller. They patted on the final draw and Strebkov check-called to get shown a seventy-six by "RaulGonzalez".

Joao "Naza114" Vieira defended the big blind against a button raise by Yuri "theNERDguy" Dzivielevski and discarded three while his opponent took two new cards. Vieira check-called and both players discarded one each for Vieira to lead and Dzivielevski to call.

Both patted and checked to see Vieira with an ten-eight, which Dzivielevski had beat with a ninety-eight.

Engel stood pat while Strebkov discard one and then bet for Engel to call. Strebkov turned over an eighty-six and that won the pot.

Yuri "theNERDguy" Dzivielevski lost another chunk of his short stack when he ran into the {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{10-Spades}{8-Spades} of Joao "Naza114" Vieira on a board of {k-Spades}{10-Clubs}{6-Spades}{k-Hearts}{9-Clubs} board.

The Brazilian then opened to 43,750 and was called by Denis "aDrENalin710" Strebkov in the cutoff. He continued for 35,063 on the {j-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop and the {3-Hearts} turn was checked. Dzivielevski bet the {2-Hearts} river for 125,478 and Strebkov folded.

They checked down to the {8-Spades}{7-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{6-Diamonds} river on which Dzivielevski bet 15,000. Strebkov raised to 59,841 and was tank-called to reveal {10-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for sixes full as the winning hand.
