Selouan Flops Better Side of Straight Over Straight

Level 12 : 3,000/6,000, 750 ante

DingeBrinker opened under the gun to 10,000, Rodrigo "SELOUAN1991" Selouan called in the cutoff, as did Teun "tinnoemulder" Mulder in the big blind.

All three players checked the {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} flop. The {j-Clubs} turn brought a 12,169 bet from Selouan, which was raised to 94,807 by Mulder. "DingeBrinker" folded and Selouan raised all in to which Mulder called for his last 9,666 chips.

Rodrigo "SELOUAN1991" Selouan: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Teun "tinnoemulder" Mulder: {8-Clubs}{7-Spades}

Both players flopped a straight but it was Selouan with the higher one, as the meaningless {5-Spades} completed the board.

Martirosian Extends Chip Lead, First Over 1 Million

Level 11 : 2,500/5,000, 625 ante

Before the break, Artur "mararthur1" Martirosian became the chip leader by getting {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} all in preflop against the {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} of Paulo "paulinhoo00" Brombin. The board ran out {9-Hearts}{7-Spades}{4-Spades} {5-Clubs} {6-Diamonds} to give Martirosian a set.

Martirosian then extended his lead by winning a couple hands, including one where he opened to 11,000 in middle position and called the 82,750 button all-in of "FouEnculePL". He had {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} versus {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} and held on the board of {6-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Spades} {5-Diamonds} {k-Hearts}.

He then won an uncontested pot a couple hands later to bring his stack over 1 million chips.

Kolonias' Rockets Busted by Nut Flush

Level 10 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Alexandros "mexican222" Kolonias opened in the cutoff to 8,000, Yuri "theNERDguy" Dzivielevski three-bet on the button to 25,200, and action folded back to Dzivielevski who called.

The two players saw the {4-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{9-Spades} flop and Kolonias check-raised Dzivielevski's 11,980 bet up to 41,331. This promoted Dzivielevski to put Kolonias all in and Kolonias called for his remaining 102,913.

Alexandros "mexican222" Kolonias: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}
Yuri "theNERDguy" Dzivielevski: {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts}

Kolonias had the best starting hand in poker, but Dzivielevski had a nut flush draw, and his draw indeed got there on the {3-Hearts} turn. The meaningless {5-Diamonds} came on the river and sent Kolonias out.

Flush Over Flush for Vogelsang

Level 10 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Before the blinds went up, Parker "tonkaaaa" Talbot opened to 6,000 in early position, Tom "Daenarys T" Vogelsang limped in middle position, and "vincientvega" defended his big blind.

The flop fell {10-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} and action folded to Vogelsang who put out a bet of 7,500. "vincientvega" raised it to 27,000, Talbot folded, and Vogelsang put his entire stack of 123,856 chips into the middle. "vincientvega" called and players showed their hands.

Tom "Daenarys T" Vogelsang: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
"vincientvega": {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}

Both players had a flush draw, but "vincientvega" also had flopped a pair of sevens to have a slight lead at this point. The {q-Hearts} turn erased that lead, and the chips went to Vogelsang on the {10-Spades} river.

Spragg Eliminated by "peceli"

Level 9 : 1,500/3,000, 375 ante

Joris "BillLewinsky" Ruijs opened the action in the cutoff to 6,000. "peceli" called and Ben "Spraggy" Spragg went all in for 47,427 in the big blind. Ruijs folded and "peceli" called.

Ben "Spraggy" Spragg: [KqQh]
"peceli": {8-Spades}{a-Spades}

Spragg was behind and was looking for some help, which didn't come on the {j-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop. The {4-Diamonds} turn left him looking for a river king or queen, as the {6-Diamonds} peeled off on the river and "peceli" took the rest of Spragg's bullet.
