Kunal Shah
Kunal Shah

Ronnie Thomas and Kunal Shah were at the turn with the board reading {5-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{4-Hearts}.

Thomas bet 25,000 which was called by Shah. The river came the {5-Hearts}.

Thomas fired again, this time for a bet of 60,000. Shah called again.

Thomas sighed and turned over {k-}{9-} while Shah showed the winner {a-}{2-} to take more from Thomas's shrinking stack.

Tim Faro

Action was picked up on the turn with a board that read {a-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs}{5-Hearts}, a huge pot of nearly 400,000 was in the middle and Ronnie Thomas had a big decision on his hands as Tim Faro moved all in.

Thomas's tournament life was at stake with the decision as Avruch was one of the few stacks in the room that had him covered.

After about two minutes of thinking, Thomas folded, electing to leave himself with his remaining 350,000.

Another was Event #4: $370 No-Limit Hold'em, a tournament that attracted 69 entries and generated a $20,700 prize pool. That was paid out to the final table with Chad Reynolds of Marinsburg, West Virginia coming out on top to win the title and accompanying $7,038 first-place prize.

It marked the fourth-largest score of Reynolds' career behind the $55,788 he won for finishing fifth in the 2014 Borgata Fall Poker Open Event #1: $550 NLH Deepstack, $19,142 for placing second in a 2014 WSOP Circuit $365 NLH event at Harrah's Cherokee, and $10,900 for a fifth-place finish in the 2014 Borgata Fall Poker Open Event #15: $1,090 NLH 6-Max.
