Adams Comes From Behind

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Dorothy Adams opened to 400,000 from early position and action folded around to Jason Bregger in the big blind who moved all in. Adams called off with the shorter stack.

Dorothy Adams: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Jason Bregger: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

Adams would need to get lucky to survive but found no help on the {9-Spades}{10-Clubs}{a-Spades} flop. The {j-Hearts} turn changed matters with Adams now well in front of Bregger. The {6-Clubs} completed the board and handed a massive double up to Adams.

Mark Martin

Mark Martin moved all in for his last 1,265,000 from early position and action folded around to Marshall Roof in the big blind who instantly called.

Mark Martin: {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}
Marshall Roof: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}

'I'm crushed' remarked Martin before the board ran out {9-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} to send him out in 18th place. Elsewhere, Joshua Sechman was seen heading to the payout desk.

Thomas Perkins Eliminated in 16th Place ($5,303)

Level 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Thomas Perkins

Chris Harrell opened to 300,000 from middle position and Thomas Perkins moved all in from late position. Action folded back around to Harrell who quickly called with the larger stack.

Thomas Perkins: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Chris Harrell: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}

Harrell was way ahead and Perkins had one foot out of the door following the {6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop. The {3-Clubs} turn and {j-Spades} river did not change matters, sending Perkins to the rail in 16th place. Earlier, Besnik Biberaj was seen heading to the exits and just after Perkins' bustout, Ryan Kirkpatrick was eliminated in 15th place.

Action folded around to Robert Fikac in the small blind who moved all in and was snapped off by Isiah Ditoto in the big blind.

Robert Fikac: {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Isiah Ditoto: {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}

Fikac was marginally behind but pulled into the lead following the {7-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{6-Hearts} flop. The {6-Spades} turn was a dagger blow, however, with the {10-Clubs} river sealing Fikac's fate. Elsewhere, Tom Northern, James Kim and David Lee were eliminated.

Jacob Davis Eliminated in 10th Place ($7,837)

Level 29 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Jacob Davis

Brandon Frazier opened to 420,000 from middle position only to see Jacob Davis move all in for 2,100,000 in the cutoff. Isiah Ditoto then re-jammed on the button and the blinds and Frazier got out of the way.

Jacob Davis: {a-Spades}{4-Spades}
Isiah Ditoto: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

Davis was in rough shape, especially as Frazier told the table he had folded ace-king. The {10-Spades}{8-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} flop changed nothing but the {a-Hearts} turn suddenly vaulted Davis into a large lead. The table let out a collective gasp as the {k-Diamonds}, the case king, rolled off the deck on the river to send Davis out in 10th place.

Chris Harrell Eliminated in 9th Place ($10,265)

Level 29 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Chris Harrell
Chris Harrell

Chris Harrell opened to 375,000 from late position and was called by Marshall Roof in the cutoff.

Harrell continued for 450,000 on a flop of {4-Clubs}{3-Spades}{4-Hearts} and Roof called.

Both players checked through the {a-Hearts} turn to the {6-Spades} river at which point Harrell pushed a hefty bet into the middle. Roof responded by moving all in and Harrell quickly called with the effective stack.

Chris Harrell: {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Marshall Roof: {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}

Roof had rivered a full house and, after making sure that he was in fact covered, Harrell headed to the payout desk in 10th place.
