Ball Dropped

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Scott Ball has just been knocked out, and he came up to us to explain what happened. After an under the gun raise to 3,500 there was a caller on the button and Ball shoved from the big blind for 22,000. The initial raiser called with {A-}{K-} and Ball busted out holding pocket sevens.

Sandberg Ruins Lavinthal's Day

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Alex Lavinthal
Alex Lavinthal

Oskar Sandberg is having the week of his life. First the Swedish player managed to win the Survivor event, then the proposed to his girlfriend (who said yes) and right now he's sitting on a comfortable stack in the Main Event.

Alex Lavinthal didn't win an event, nor did he get married, and he also just got knocked out by Sandberg. It's safe to say Lavinthal's day got ruined by Sandberg just now, as he sent him to the rail after beating him up in two big pots.

"First he doubled through me when I hit a set of sevens but he rivered broadway," Lavinthal said.

On the last hand the player in the cutoff raised to 2,500 and Sandberg called on the button. The player in the small blind called as well, before Lavinthal moved all in for 21,100. The cutoff folded and Sandberg called right away, getting the small blind to fold.

Sandberg: {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Lavinthal: {Q-}{Q-}

The board brought Sandberg two pair, and he sent a disappointed Lavinthal to the rail.

More for Ethans

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Eric Ethans and Cory Anderson
Eric Ethans and Cory Anderson

From the hijack seat, Eric Ethans raised to 3,200. Cory Anderson was in the cutoff seat and reraised to 13,000. Play folded back to Ethans, and he called to take a flop.

The flop was {9-Spades}{7-Hearts}{4-Spades}, and Ethans checked. Anderson bet 16,000, and Ethans contemplated for a little bit.

"I don't really know what the appropriate thing to do here is," said Ethans as he thought.

Eventually, Ethans called.

The turn was the {10-Spades}, and Ethans fired 40,000, which was enough to put Anderson and his 20,500 in chips all in. Anderson thought for a little, then folded, and Ethans took the pot, showing the {10-Hearts}.

The Ethans Show Continues

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Eric Ethans
Eric Ethans

Yesterday we saw Eric Ethans run up a huge stack worth 180,200, and he was not holding back on telling everyone that he couldn't play on Sunday. Ethans played every possible hand, and today he looks to continue the same pattern. For now it's working, as Ethans just busted another player.

"Earlier he yelled, 'clock!' on a player that had only been thinking for half a second, so I think the guy was a bit mad at him," another player at the table told us about the guy that just got knocked out by Ethans.

The player in question raised to 4,800 under the gun and Ehtans just called in position, after which the flop brought {Q-}{Q-}{4-}.

"He bet 14,000 and I made it 32,000 and he just jammed," Ehtans said, as his opponent was all in for a total of 60,000.

Ethans: {Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}
Opponent: {A-}{K-}

The turn nor river brought help for the all-in player, and Ethans added some more chips to his huge stack.

Flush for O'Neil Over a Set of Queens for "Barstool Nate"

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

On the {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{4-Clubs} board, Conor O'Neil bet an unknown amount in a fairly big pot against Eric "Barstool Nate" Nathan. After a bit of thought, Nathan called with the {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}. Unfortunately for him and his set of queens, O'Neil had the {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs} for a rivered flush.

Full House for "Barstool Nate"

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Eric "Barstool Nate" Nathan
Eric "Barstool Nate" Nathan

From the hijack seat, Michael Delvecchio raised to 2,500. Eric "Barstool Nate" Nathan called on the button, and everyone else folded. The flop came down {J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}, and Delvecchio bet 2,500. Nathan called, and the dealer added the {4-Spades} to the board on the turn.

Both players checked fourth street, and the {8-Diamonds} completed the board on the river. With two pair of jacks and eights on the board, Delvecchio checked. Nathan bet 10,000, and Delvecchio tank-called. Nathan showed the {K-Diamonds}{J-Spades} for a full house, and Delvecchio mucked his hand.
