Rafael Ibaibarriaga Eliminated in 5th Place ($884)

Level 17 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Rafael Ibaibarriaga, who took 13th in the opening event of the series, was the latest aces-versus-kings victim. He got {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} in but saw John Gonzalez turn up {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades}. The {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{a-Hearts} community did not improve Ibaibarriaga, and he had to settle for fifth.

Matt Johns Eliminated in 6th Place ($612)

Level 17 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

The hand after Isaac Leong went bust, it was aces versus kings again.

Matt Johns: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{3-Clubs}
Tyler Rauh: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{3-Spades}

The board ran out {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{a-Clubs}, and Rauh took the pot with aces full, collecting Johns' remaining 75,000 or so.

Isaac Leong

Isaac Leong got his remaining chips in with {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}{k-Hearts}{10-Hearts} but his kings were dominated by the {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{9-Diamonds} of Thomas Dominguez. Leong failed to find improvement and he was first to go at the final table.

Dominguez Eliminates Swift

Level 17 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante
Deb Swift
Deb Swift

We found Thomas Dominguez making what looked to be a crying call to put Deb Swift at risk, as he turned over {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and said he didn't want to see Swift's hand for fear of how crushed he might be. Indeed, Swift was way ahead with {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}, and a {q-Spades}{10-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop solidified her lead with a set. The turn was a {k-Hearts} however, and the river a {q-Hearts}, giving Dominguez a running boat. The two exchanged a hug and Swift headed to payouts.

Jason Somerville
Jason Somerville

Jason Somerville went busto, getting his second cash of the series. He reportedly got his stack in with a double-suited hand with a dangler after opening and having an opponent set him all in with aces.

Swift Stacking; Peters Eliminated

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante
Donnie Peters
Donnie Peters

Deb Swift raised on the button and a player in the small blind with only about 20,000 got it in with {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}. Swift had {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and she sent her opponent packing with a {7-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{k-Spades}{3-Hearts} community.

At another table, Donnie Peters busted out to Matt Johns, who made an eight-high straight.
