That's Disgusting!

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Brian Ebert opened to 50,000 and both Chad Holloway and Paul Sampson called from the button and small blind respectively.

All three players checked the {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} flop as the {7-Spades} landed on the turn and Ebert fired a delayed continuation-bet of 75,000.

Holloway folded, Sampson called and both players checked the {4-Clubs} on the river.

Ebert tabled his {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}, but Sampson tabled his {4-Spades}{4-Hearts}.

"That's disgusting!" announced Ebert.

"I thought you had ace-high" added Sampson after the hand.

Somerville Can't Get Away

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Jason Somerville raised to 51,000 on the button, and big blind Eric Shiarla defended. Both checked the flop, and Shiarla looked like he was going to cut out a bet on the turn with the board reading {5-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{a-Hearts}. He decided to just shove all in. Somerville got a count and it was 393,000.

"I don't think I'm going to be able to fold this," Somerville said. "You wouldn't just turn a flush and then go, 'I'm all in,' that would be silly."

"That would be silly," Shiarla agreed.

"I think I have the best hand," Somerville continued. "That makes me want to put the money in."

After more thinking — and more talking — he finally did call.

Somerville: {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Shiarla: {q-Hearts}{6-Spades}

Shiarla had pulled a Somerville on Somerville, flopping two pair in the big blind. It held on the {k-Diamonds} river.

Flush for Shiarla

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Jason Somerville opened to 51,000 from the hijack and Eric Shiarla called on the button to see a {A-Spades}{2-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop fall.

Somerville checked and Shiarla bet 60,000 which Somerville called as the {4-Clubs} landed on the turn.

This time Somerville led out for 85,000 and Shiarla called as the {Q-Hearts} landed on the river and Somerville checked.

Shiarla pushed out a bet of 215,000 and Somerville called.

Shiarla tabled his {Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs} for a flush and Somerville folded.

Mario Lopez - 13th place

Eric Shiarla opened to 75,000 and Mario Lopez moved all in for 120,000 next to speak. The action folded to Shiarla and he called.

Shiarla: {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
Lopez: {Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs}

With Lopez trailing and at-risk, the {9-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop changed little until the {J-Hearts} landed on the turn.

Although Lopez would now be in the lead, he would have to fade a heart, and unfortunately for him the river landed the {2-Hearts} to see him eliminated in 13th place for a $1,660 payday.

Jed Hoffman shoved all in on the button for about 180,000, and Chad Holloway called in the small blind.

Holloway: {a-Spades}{2-Clubs}
Hoffman: {q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}

Holloway let out a sound of disappointment when he saw a {9-Hearts} in the door but it was followed by {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}. The {10-Hearts} was the turn card and Holloway hit quads on the {a-Hearts} river.
