Action checked to Gates on the flop, and Gates bet 3,500. The button raised to 11,100, and Mills thought over her decision for a few moments before folding.

Gates was ahead with his top two pair, but the button player still had 36 percent equity going into the turn and river, with top pair and a flush draw. The turn and river confirmed the win for Gates, however, and the 2019 WSOP Main Event fourth-place finisher took in the huge pot.
