Bardah's Set Wins Four-Way Pot

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Ronnie Bardah
Ronnie Bardah

Alon Eldar raised to 22,000 from under the gun, and was called by Ronnie Bardah in the cutoff, Jeremy Pekarek in the small blind, and Max Young in the big blind.

Action checked to Bardah on a {7-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop, and he bet 45,000. Only Young called.

Both players checked the {q-Diamonds} turn, and Young bet 40,000 on the {j-Clubs} river, which Bardah quickly called. Young tabled {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}, but Bardah held the winner with his {4-Clubs}{4-Spades}.

Controversy At Table 31

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Loren Klein limped in the small blind, and Andrew Smith raised to 40,000 in the big blind. As Klein took another look at his cards, Smith informed Klein that he saw one of Klein's cards.

Floor was called over to give a ruling, with Smith saying that he only saw the suit of one of Klein's cards. In spite of that information, Klein decided to go all in. Smith looked over at Klein's stack, and Klein made sure to protect his cards.

"You're cut off from seeing my cards this hand," Klein said, which got a laugh from some of the other players at the table. Smith eventually folded, and Klein took in the small pot.

Newland Doubles Up Elwell

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Vincent Newland raised to 25,000 from middle position, then called a three-bet shove for 44,000 from Dallas Elwell in the hijack.

Dallas Elwell: {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}
Vincent Newland: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

"How about a five?" Elwell asked. No five fell on the {j-Clubs}{10-Spades}{7-Spades} flop, but Newland said, "There's a five," after the {5-Diamonds} fell on the turn. Newland could still earn the KO with a king or queen, but the {7-Diamonds} river gave Elwell the small double.

Daoud Majid jammed for 184,000 from under the gun, and Matthew Gallagher called on the button.

Daoud Majid: {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Matthew Gallagher: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

Majid spiked top pair on the {4-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} flop, and was one card from a double after the {2-Diamonds} turn. Fate had other ideas, however, as Gallagher hit his Broadway straight on the {j-Spades} river, causing Majid to softly chuckle before heading off to the cashier.
