Run It Up Reno IX
While PokerNews is focused on bringing you live updates from the $600 Main Event, we also wanted to share some winner news from earlier in the Run It Up Reno IX. There have been several champions crowned at the Peppermill, and tens of thousands of dollars awarded.
In the $125 Pot-Limit Omaha tournament, the $5,000 guarantee was more than tripled as 172 runners created a $16,684 prize pool. That was paid out amongst the top 28 players including Jarrad Reynolds (9th - $410), Jimmy Cappucci (11th - $320), Shirin Oskooi (12th - $320), Jesse Fullen (14th - $250), Jordan Spurlin (21st - $200), and Aubrey Williams (27th - $200).
The tournament ended in heads-up deal between Iva Yoshihara and John Chorne that saw them each take home $3,115 in prize money. Meanwhile, Paul Holder finished in third place for $1,614 while Patrick Carter took fourth for $1,190.
