Goodman's Good For a Double

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

A player raised to 1,100 from middle position, and Scott Goodman three-bet to 3,300 from the small blind. The middle position player called.

Goodman bet 4,000 on the {k-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} flop, and his opponent called.

The {9-Clubs} hit the turn, and Goodman jammed for his last 6,000. His opponent quickly called.

Scott Goodman: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Opponent: {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

"Nice hand...I need a jack," Goodman's opponent said. The {2-Diamonds} was safe for Goodman, and he doubled up.

Two Nut Flush Draws Collide

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

Paul Hendee raised to 1,800 from under the gun, and was called by the button, as well as Jesse Murrell in the big blind.

Murrell checked the {6-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop to Hendee, who bet 5,200. The button called and Murrell folded.

Murrell announced, "All in!" and slammed a stack of 5k chips in the pot once the {3-Spades} hit the turn, putting the button at risk for his last 27,500. The button tanked for a few minutes, then flicked a chip in the pot to call.

Opponent: {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Paul Hendee: {a-Spades}{6-Spades}

Hendee's nut spade draw and pair of sixes was ahead at the moment, but his opponent held the nut heart draw and could also hit a nine to steal the big pot away from "OTWPaul". The {4-Diamonds} bricked off on the river, and Hendee said, "Good game...definitely the chip leader now!" before raking in the pot.

Three-Bet Pot Goes to Trivett

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

An under-the-gun player opened to 1,000, Austin Roberts called on the button, and Michael Trivett three-bet to 3,500 in the small blind. The under-the-gun player folded, and Roberts made the call.

Both remaining players checked the {5-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} flop. Trivett made a 6,000 bet on the {2-Diamonds} turn, and Roberts folded.

Uchibori's Set Spells Doom For Trivett

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante
Glenn Uchibori
Glenn Uchibori

Five players limped in to see a {q-Hearts}{6-Spades}{9-Diamonds} flop together, and action checked to Glenn Uchibori in middle position. He bet 1,600, and only Michael Trivett called in the small blind.

The {2-Diamonds} fell on the turn, and Trivett checked again. Uchibori bet 3,000, and Trivett check-raised to 10,000. Uchibori three-bet shoved, and Trivett called off his last 42,000.

Michael Trivett: {9-Hearts}{6-Hearts}
Glenn Uchibori: {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}

Trivett needed a nine to overcome the set of sixes of Uchibori, but the {2-Spades} river instead filled up Uchibori. "Nice hand," Trivett told Uchibori before hitting the rail.

Mills Fades a Heart to Double

Level 6 : 300/500, 500 ante

Kasey Lyn Mills checked an {8-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{k-Hearts} flop from under the gun, and the button bet 3,500 into a pot of 9,400. Mills check-raised all in for 19,200, and the button confirmed the amount, then called.

Kasey Lyn Mills: {3-Clubs}{3-Spades}
Opponent: {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

Mills needed to dodge a heart to earn the double with her set, and the {6-Spades} turn and {10-Diamonds} river were both safe for the double.

Apostol Counts Out Chips, Hanley Takes Them

Level 6 : 300/500, 500 ante

Tyson Apostol asked PokerNews if it was time for a chip count from his considerable stack, and the Survivor star obliged with a meticulous count of the 93,000 in front of him.

As he finishing up the tally, he got involved in a hand with Valerie Hanley. Apostol, from the hijack, and Hanley, on the big blind, went heads up to a {10-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{j-Hearts} flop.

Hanley bet 3,000, and Apostol called, bringing the {8-Diamonds} on the turn. Hanley bet 8,000 more, and Apostol caled again.

Hanley went all in for the rest of her stack, around 17,000, on the {8-Clubs} river, and Apostol folded.
