On Wednesday, RIU Reno VIII hosted it’s $109 buy-in, $20K GTD 8-Game Championship. The tournament saw 109 entrants take to the felt, which resulted in a $21,146 prize pool that was paid out to the top 17 players.

Among those to cash but fall short of making the final table were Chris Lindner (9th - $640), Chris Moneymaker (11th - $500), Mini Main Event champ John Boriolo (12th - $500), Benjamin “Spraggy” Spragg (13th - $400), and Ryan Schoonbaert (15th - $400).

After Andy Pokrivnak bowed out in third place for $2,340, the title came down to Vincent Newland and Nick Kiley. The latter ultimately prevailed to capture the gold trophy and accompanying $5,220 first-place prize.
