Aces Up for Braun

Action went five-ways to a flop of 35Q in a limped pot and it checked around to Daryl Braun in the cutoff who bet 3,000. Only the small blind and middle position called.

On the 8 turn, it checked over to Braun again and he continued with a bet of 6,000. Only middle position called.

The river landed the A and middle position checked. Braun bet 10,000 and after a moment of thought, middle position tossed in the call.

"Aces up," said Braun as he turned over A5 for two pair, aces and fives to take down the pot.

Dahlstrom Back Above Starting Stack

Miller Wins Back-to-Back Hands

Harlen Miller raised to 1,500 under the gun and was called by the player in the cutoff, Josh Dahlstrom on the button, and the player in the big blind.

The flop came 5K6, it checked to Miller who bet 3,000, and only Dahlstom called.

On the 9 turn, Miller bet 6,500 and Dahlstom called again, bringing the 7 river.

Miller bet 5,000 and Dahlstrom called, tabling K10 for top pair. He saw the bad news when Miller turned over 87 for the straight.

The next hand, early position raised to 2,500 and Miller three-bet to 5,600 from the big blind. Early position called and the two saw a flop of 4J3.

Miller fired out a bet of 12,000 and early position quickly tossed his cards into the muck.
