Miller Doubles Through Lewis
Level 3
: Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Jason Miller got the action started with an open to 2,000 from early position. Javes Lewis called from the hijack, and Joseph Brewer joined with a call from the big blind.
Both Brewer and Miller checked the 6♣6♠9♥ flop, which led to a bet of 3,400 from Lewis. Brewer folded, but Miller had other intentions as he opted to go all-in for 11,800. Lewis made the call as Miller was at risk.
Jason Miller: A♣A♠
Javes Lewis: Q♥9♣
Lewis had top pair, but it was no good, as Miller had the best starting hand in the game with pocket aces.
The 2♦ turn was of no threat to Miller.
The river was paint, but it wasn't a queen, as the J♣ peeled to award Miller the double.
