Stanford Eliminates Lawson
Level 5
: Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Christopher Lawson shipped it and was at risk for approximately 21,800 against Cody Stanford.
Christopher Lawson: K♦Q♠
Cody Stanford: A♥Q♦
Stanford had Lawson's hand dominated, and the 3♦7♠Q♦ flop did not help Lawson change that situation, as Stanford was still in the lead after the first three cards of the runout.
The A♣ turn sealed it in Stanford's favor before the K♠ river gave Lawson an inferior two pair as he was eliminated.
