Brewer Shows Winner
Level 7
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Joseph Brewer opened to 3,000 from the hijack and was called by Nicholas Rigby in the small blind and Mark Mead in the big blind.
The 7♣4♠2♣ flop resulted in a check from both blinds before Brewer continued for 10,000. Rigby folded, but Mead responded with a check-raise to 20,000. Brewer called.
Both remaining players checked the 5♦ turn and the J♦ river to go to showdown.
Brewer tabled A♥7♦ for a pair of sevens, which was enough as Mead mucked his hand in response, awarding the pot to Brewer.
