McNeil Doubles Through Nia
Level 8
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
The pot had grown to approximately 16,000 when this hand was picked up on a board that read 3♣3♠K♥10♥.
John McNeil shoved for his final 7,6000 from the small blind and was called by Saeed Nia on the button as McNeil was at risk.
John McNeil: A♥10♣
Saeed Nia: A♠Q♣
McNeil was well ahead with his two pair, as Nia was drawing to a queen for the win or an ace for the chop.
The K♠ river locked it up in favor of McNeil as he secured the double.
