Hart Doubles Through Rigby

Erick Torres

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Cliff Hart from the cutoff and Nicholas Rigby on the button clashed preflop, with Hart at risk for his tournament life for 29,000.

Cliff Hart: A♦10♠ All in
Nicholas Rigby: Q♠8♦

Hart was ahead preflop, but the flop vaulted Rigby to the front when it came 7♠8♣K♥ to give Rigby a pair of eights.

The K♠ turn did not alter the standings, but the 10♥ river was a welcome sight for Hart as he spiked a ten to double up and stay in contention.
