Pritts Doubles Through Stanford
Level 10
: Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Cody Stanford applied max pressure with a shove on the button. Doug Pritts answered with a call and put himself at risk as he went to a showdown with Stanford.
Doug Pritts: Q♠7♠
Cody Stanford: 9♦7♥
Pritts found himself in a great position to secure the double as he had Stanford's hand dominated.
The 2♣3♦8♠ flop did not jeopardize Pritts' lead.
The 6♦ turn, however, was a sweat as Stanford gained an open-ended straight draw.
Pritts held on the 2♦ river to secure the double.
