Lott's Strong Day 1a Continues
Level 11
: Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
This hand was picked up on the turn of a pot that already had 23,000 in the middle. Kitty Boren from the big blind position fired 10,000 on the turn of a board that read 3♦7♠A♠7♦ and was called by Jesse Lott from the hijack.
The 3♥ river led to a shove from Boren for 27,000. Lott confirmed the count and made the call to go to showdown.
Boren showed A♦2♣ for two pair, aces and sevens.
Lott was slightly better, as his kicker mattered when he tabled A♣8♠ for the same two pair, but with an eight kicker to claim the pot and eliminate his opponent.
