Vaughan Sends Standford Packing
Level 12
: Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
This hand was picked up on the turn of a pot that already grew to 40,000 on a board that read Q♣6♥K♣7♠.
Cody Stanford checked his option from the big blind before Matt Vaughan bet 22,000. Stanford made the call.
The 2♠ river led to another check from Stanford. Vaughan shoved in response to put Stanford to a decision for all his chips. Stanford stuck in his stack of approximately 64,000 as he went to a showdown against Vaughan.
Vaughan showed 6♦6♠ for a set of sixes to eliminate Stanford, who made the call with Q♥J♥.
