Hart Shows Rogers the Exit

A consequential hand broke out between Jason Rogers and Cliff Hart when Rogers and Hart got the chips in on the turn of a board that read 8♣K♥2♥8♦. Rogers shoved for approximately 125,000, and Hart called, as Rogers was at risk.

Jason Rogers: 8♥6♥ All in
Cliff Hart: K♣8♠

Rogers turned trip eights, but that turned out to be for the worse as Hart turned a full house and had Rogers drawing dead as they went to a river.

The inconsequential 5♠ peeled on the river as Rogers was eliminated late on Day 1a.
