Rockets for Flowers
Level 14
: Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
David Flowers opened to 12,000 from the cutoff before Russel Ogburn shoved on the button for approximately 47,000. Flowers snap-called and put Ogburn at risk.
Russel Ogburn: 8♥8♣
David Flowers: A♠A♦
Ogburn found himself well behind as Flowers had the goods with pocket aces.
The K♣A♣3♠ had Ogburn with one foot out the door, as he needed a miracle of running eights to win the hand.
Ogburn was eliminated when the 7♥ turn and the 9♦ river completed the board.
