Double KO for Lawson
A player from early position opened before a player in middle position made the call. Christopher Lawson chose to put more chips in the pot when he three-bet to 11,000 from the cutoff. The early position player shoved for 18,200 and his all-in was called by the middle position. Lawson went over the top with a five-bet shove for 30,500 and was called by the middle position opponent. Lawson had both at covered and at risk.
Early Position: A♣6♣
Middle Position: J♦J♠
Christopher Lawson: A♦A♠
Lawson had the goods with pocket rockets, but he still had five cards to go before he could celebrate.
The flop was safe when it came 2♥K♦10♠ to keep him well in front.
Lawson's aces held on the 8♠ turn and the 2♦ river as he scooped the whole pot and showed two opponents the exit.
