Pham Busts Lopez-Reyes
Level 8
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
The pot had grown to approximately 28,000 when this hand was picked up on a board that read 10♦9♣J♠2♠.
Rafael Lopez-Reyes checked his option from early position before Tony Pham bet 16,000 from middle position. Lopez-Reyes shoved for 25,300 and was swiftly called by Pham as Lopez-Reyes was at risk.
Rafael Lopez-Reyes: A♠9♥
Tony Pham: Q♣Q♠
Pham was well in front with his pocket queens and the river did not alter the standings when it came the J♣ to award Pham the pot and eliminate Lopez-Reyes.
